Hi all,

Wondering if someone can help, my msi is installing some files to the ALLUSERSPROFILE predefined folder, under files and folders.

When I install the msi using the command line switch /q or /qb! the files for this folder end up on the root of my d: drive.

If I install this msi manually (i.e manually double click on the msi) the files end up on my c: drive under c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ the correct place.

I am logged in as the same user when installing both times.

What version of AdminStudio do you use?

From what you described, the custom action that sets ALLUSERSPROFILE property is in UI Sequence, but not in Execute Sequence.

Hi ya,

I am using adminstudio 6, I have got around it by hard coding the component path to c:\documents and settings\all users. I know this is not good practice but time is the limiting factor.
