Shortcut and "workingdir" problem

Hello!

I'm trying to make a package of FAME.
My problem is that in the shortcut the working directory (Start in:) must point to a network share (X:\FAME). In the first package I used X:\FAME, but when I tried to distribute the package from AD I got an error. I had to change all my packages with hard-coded paths to UNC paths. Then AD would accept the packages.

My problem is that FAME does not accept UNC path in the working dir.

I want to put an environmental variable in the "Start In" field, but I can't see that AdminStudio lets me do that.

Does anybody know how this can be solved? I'm very grateful if I can get a clue to how this can be solved.

Create a property in Property Manager, and hardcode the path. Create a directory property in Directory table with the same name, and set Directory_Parent column to TARGETDIR and DefaultDir to "." (without quotes). It will give you a warning tho when you do validation.
