Problem in installing AdminStudio 3.5 VP1

Hello,

We are getting a error during setup of 'Value Pack1 For AdminStudio 3.5x' over AdminStudio 3.5.

Value Pack1 For AdminStudio 3.5x (AdminStudio35VP1.exe) was downloaded from the installshield website.

We are getting the following error message - 'The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation'. The installation has been tried on multiple Windows 2000 professional machines and administrator login was used to install the softwares.

The same error is displayed if we try to load Developer 8.0 on the already installed Admin Studio 3.5. Confirming here again that we used adminstrative login for installation.

Thank you for your question regarding system policies and upgrading your AdminStudio 3.5 product to Value Pack 1.

I did a quick search across the InstallShield forums for the phrase "system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation" and found many different suggestions, one of which should be helpful in fixing this problem. Just press the Search button at the top of the page, then type in the phrase, and search across all the forums.

I hope this points you in the right direction, let us know if this is still causing any problems.

I now have a CD of version 3.5 which is inclusive of VP1. So I guess we can close this thread. Thank You for ur help.
