Permision help

I have a lot of packages I made in the past with older versions of admin studio. The problem is we are locking down desktops more and more and now I need to edit theses packages so all users can have full control on certain folders. I tried to reopen the package with dev 9 under locking permissions but it keeps giving me errors when I test the install and It seems not to like my domains or user groups. Please help.

I am trying to give nodify rights to all users to a particualr folder on a .msi that i already made.

Give us a bit more info on the issue if this doesn't work.

Right Click the Folder select properties.
In the lower right hander corner click "Permissions".
Select "User", and type in [Everyone].

I presume you updated your project and produced a new MSI.

If the new MSI is deployed on a machine that does not have previous version of MSI installed, and you are having problem, please refer to the KB article mentioned for information.

If the new MSI is deployed on a machine that does have previous version of MSI installed, you will need to create a patch to have the changes applied.
