Hi all
I am new to windows installer and Installshield and was wondering if Windows NT 4 SP6 and for that matter windows 9.x can actually self-repair. If so how? I have created some MSI, deleted an important exe and clicked the shortcut hoping that NT4 would fix it, all it does is look for the exe with the old "browse or cancel".
I did test the same msi on windows xp and did the same, and of course when I clicked the shortcut with the missing exe it went and fixed it..
Please help
we are using windows installer 2, however one thing to note when the MSI was packaged it was on an earlier windows installer version
