.MSI import proccess stops at: "Insert app model data for package"

Hi everyone,

I´m new using Adminstudio 2016 (I used Wise Package Studio) and I have a problem when I try to import a .msi to the Application Manager. The proccess stops at thispoint:

"Insert app model data for package"

If I cancel then I can click on finish and it seems that the applications has correctly been imported to the database. Is there a way to Insert the app model data when while the proccess is running? Do I have to configure it before starting to import the .msi?

Hi,

You will have to wait till the application is imported, before making changes to the app model data.

Alternatively, there are some default app model settings in Application Manager, which you can set before importing the applications --> http://helpnet.flexerasoftware.com/adminstudio2016/adminstudio.htm#ashelplibrary/AMSetDefaultAMProp_Options.htm?Highlight=application model default.

Also, the issue you are seeing can be investigated by the support team. Please contact us if you have a valid support plan.

Thanks for your quick reply. Finally it has worked fine connecting to a SQL Sserver installed on a different computer.
