InstallAdminStudion Eval - Failure Step 0

InstallAdminStudio reports that it cannot install because it is already installed.
It is not in add/remove programs.
The MSI Cleanup tool does not list it as exist.
I tried manually deleting all obvious reg keys and files to no avail.

I'm reinstalling because AdminStudio.EXE gave me errors even trying to launch, though subfeatures worked.

I've already wasted almost two days trying to just get the downloaded and installed.

I've repackaged 10,000s of apps over the years with ZENworks and I've had more problems just getting this product installed than just about any I've seen. Not starting out to look look a reliable tool to add to our suite.....

Any help would be appreciated in hacking an uninstall.

strange, it is fairly reliable, maybe the download was corrupt.

If you are comfortable with the registry, as a last resort, I'd try deleting HKLM\software\installshield\adminstudio and asme under HKCU.

I'd also get rid of the files in the adminstudio install folder.

this should let you reinstall AdminStudio.
