Exception Error in OSSNAPSHOT.EXE on Windows XP

OSSNAPSHOT.EXE receives exception error 0xC0000005 whenever run on a particular desktop (IBM Netvista). Almost finishes, but fails during "Analyzing References". Ran it across network and locally with same results. Error occurred in 1 of 2 modules (same error code) - XNISPY32.dll or NTDLL.dll. Program stops when error occurs. Can run OSSNAPSHOT successfully from 3 other computers (another IBM Netvista, Dell and VMWARE sessions on Dell). Only on this 1 computer. Rebuilt the OS (XP) and received error in different module.

this is very old thread (2003) for a problem I was experiencing on an old version of Adminstudio (5.x or maybe 6.0 - prior to VP1) on an old version of Windows XP (pre-SP2).

If memory serves me, I believe the problem did not occur after we upgraded to Adminstudio 6 VP1.

But can not swear to the resolution. All I can suggest is that all software is up-to-date (Windows OS, Adminstudio and h/w bios and firmware).

Sorry for not having more definitive answer - like I said, it's been a while and alot has happened between now and then, least of which my job role is different (from: Packaging/Adminstudio) to: Distribution(SMS/SCCM).
