I have been trying all day to get AutoCAD LT 2002 to work how I would like but have not been succeding.
I have made a transform to enter the serial code and have managed to get that part to work.
I also wanted to add some registry keys into the HKCU registry to stop certain parts from running when AutoCAD starts up. The problem is that the registry entries don't appear in the users registry, in fact NO autocad registry entries don't appear until you run the program for the first time. The extra entries don't get put into the registry at all, nor does it seem do the other entries for HKCU that are in the MSI.
Is there a reason for this?
The second problem is linked to the startup directory for the programs. The customer wants it to start in 'u:\mywork' but the msi won't install if that's set, saying that the U drive doesn't exist when it tries to install.
I'm sure I have done this in the past but it doesn't want to work this time.
Any ideas?
