I need some information on bug report: 1-DCY96. It is related to the Tivoli 4.1 compatibility issues.

This WO 1-DCY96 will be addressed in the near future. In the meanwhile, you can change the header to say 4.1 and Tivoli will handle this file.

We have tried that, but that doesn't work fully. In order to get the software that we have packaged thus far to work we have had to:

1. Change the signature format from '4.2' to '4.1'
2. Comment out 'caption' and 'compression_method' lines in the newly created SPDF

There must be some compression differences between 4.2 and 4.1. It is somewhat of a pain to have to do this for each package. Is there any ETA for a patch?

The issue has been fixed in the code. However, we don't have a release vehicle to ship the fix and will be available by the end of June.

We have enhanced the Tivoli support, to include templates, so you can better control the contents of the file that is created.

We would be willing to beta test the code for you. The interoperability with Tivoli was one of the biggest selling points for us.

Is there any way I can get more info on these templates and what they will do for us (or won't do)?
