Adobe Table 3.0 - repackaging issues

Hi guys, I'm currently in the process of repackaging Adobe PageMaker 6.5 and I've run into a problem I can't get rid off.

Initially I had the issue where, if logged in as a User Pagemaker would try to repair itself and then ask for the source.

Fixed this by removing the Language values for each of the affected files.

But then I got the, "unable to locate pagemaker registry entries..." error. Fixed that by setting some registry key permissions.

Now, though, when trying to open Adobe Table 3.0 as a user I get the error,

"Initialization of OLE 2 failed. Error writing to registration database."

Does anyone know what the problem is?

I've already set full permissions for the user to the adobe folder (and subsequent children).

I'm stuck.

Please help, thanks,

wil..

***fixed***

had to use the brute force approached.

Used Regmon to find keys that were ACCDENIED. Granted full permissions to Users to these.

Issue resolved.

Hello wilch,

Thanks for your inputs.

How can I fix the same issue "Initialization of OLE 2 failed. Error writing to registration database." in my Windows Vista home premium OS with adobe table.

How to go about Using Regmon to find keys that were ACCDENIED and Grant full permissions to Users to these.

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks & Best regards,
