After I installed AdminStudio, SMS edition, it asked to verify my SMS instance. I have SMS up and running, but when it tries to verify the SMS site, it comes back with “Unable to connect to SMS Server”.
Are you passing the right credentials? I logon to the domain with an unprivledged account and have to use another account to access the site databases.
I installed AS6 SMS Edition on a clean machine in a test domain with no trust with the production AD forest. On first run I got the first dialog. I entered my SMS central site server name along with credentials for authentication. After which I got the second dialog. I click the link, logon with my InstallShield Passport and the system gave me a serial number.
