A "How do I" when entering into SMS

Hi,

I am pretty new to AdminStudio and had a question regarding entering the package into SMS. Also, bear with me while I am just starting out with deploying packages through SMS, I am currently moving from ZenWorks.

When I go to the Distribution Wizard after the create MIF portion, it is "Network Location". Shouldn't this be a location that SMS creates when DP's are created?

Or should I point to a common place where I keep all my applications that I will create manually and then assign the NTFS permissions?

If you want to import the package straight into SMS you need to use the SMS Web Console, otherwise you need to export the package to a "Network Location" and use the sms console to import package from definition file.
