Don't use the .exe. Extract or rebuild into an .msi and then use the /i /qn for a silent install and /x /qn for a silent uninstall. I thought Media Player 10 was distributed as an .msi anyway?

Also note that the entire campus is locked down so giving Full permissions to everyone is not an option. 
