SDK version: 11.13.02 Seems I experienced problem where calling method lc_checkout with option LM_CO_LOCALTEST generate operation taking about 10 seconds (I suppose it is linked with timeout in FLEX). I observate this time never mind if feature is declared on server LIC file or not. There are no such delay when I call lc_checkout in "normal mode" (not LM_CO_LOCALTEST). There are no such delay when network connection is realised directly, without VPN. Pings to server are working correctly, server can be declared as name / IP but there is no influence on presented problem. How can I debug more deeply what is the problem?

From my past experience with Flexnet, such kind of errors are mainly because of some implementation issues or (probably related to Lmtools ?). Could you share the details of your Flexnet version and also what steps lead you to these errors?

You can set up the license server to do all that. You can put both vendor's licenses into one file (which I wouldn't recommend), or you can have one lmgrd run both vendor daemons (which I also wouldn't recommend). The safest thing to do is to run separate lmgrd processes for each vendor (so that you can take down one without taking down all of them). To do this you just need to specify different port numbers on the SERVER line for each vendor's license file. Also, it is a good idea to uses the newest lmgrd for all your vendor daemons. When you run lmstat you need to use the -c option to specify a particular license file, otherwise it just scans the default ports (27000 to 27009) and finds whatever is running there

I am very new to Flexera (Have 10 years of Altiris experience) and have a question for the community. I have 2 disconnected FlexNet Manager systems and need to know what the best way to export license information from the outside one so it can be pulled into the inside instance. My thought is that since it's SQL based I can export the tables so it can be imported into the inside instance and the data will populate correctly. If there's a better way I would be most appreciative if someone could let me know. Thanks in advance for your help and understanding for the new guy.
