We currently use our CMDB for on-prem servers to update the device role in FNMS. We are now trying to figure out how to get that data for the cloud servers. We currently do NOT have cloud servers in our CMDB.

We just enabled our Azure connector and I'm starting to use the Cloud Service Provider Inventory report and I can't find any information in the documentation on what the "Cloud Service Provider Date" field is and where the data comes from. I have a "Cloud Service Provider" field that shows Microsoft Azure and a "Creation Date" (which are all blank) and "Inventory Date". Instances where I have data in "inventory date" I will also have a date in "Cloud Service Provider date" and they are not always the same. Anybody have any idea what this field is and means?

We have not enabled "detection of Docker and running inventory agent inside Docker containers" in FNMS On-Premises due to the performance issue that is caused with the older inventory agents. We are in the process of upgrading the agents to 2021 R1 in our environment but wanted to ask a few questions. -If you ignore a device that is still actively reporting in with an older agent will it cause performance issues? -If you ignore a device that is not actively reporting in with an older agent will it cause performance issues? -Can we use lower environment to test this issue with the container scanning and older agent performance issue or do we not get inventory updates in the lower environment?

We are in the process of deploying the full Kubernetes agent on our on-prem clusters and I have been unable to find any information about the IBM License Service and if there is any configuration/set-up that we need to complete on our end. Can anyone let me know if there is set-up/configuration for IBM License Service that we need to complete or is this part of FNMS?

I want to be clear that we would be using the same on-premises beacon to host the connectors. We will not be hosting the connectors in the AWS/Azure environment. Are we able to host both of the connectors on the same on-premises beacon?

I've been searching for documentation to confirm if FNMS On-Prem will allow for multiple ways of gathering inventory. We are currently using the Third-party deployment of the FN Agent within our environment but wondering if we could also do a Zero-footprint for possibly our cloud instances. Thanks!
