if you log the install it will give you a line number typically.

It will not prompt immediately, but are you saying you do not see the prompt when it gets to ExecuteAction as well?

You would set and retrieve through MSI properties. That is how the two could communicate.

I too am getting this same behavior. Anyone have an explanation as to why? I'd prefer to not use a custom action if I could use the built in functionality.
