This article provides the requirements that have to be met in order to have metering data displayed on an asset.
Symptoms
You are missing metering data in Spider Asset
Cause
There are a few requirements that have to be met in order to have metering data displayed on an asset:
- Metering has to be enabled in the configuration
- The Software that you want to meter has to be activated in the Catalog
- Metering data must not be older than 90 days
- The product must be found in programs and files
- File scans (located files) must be present
Only if all these conditions are fulfilled the metering will be shown on the asset
Resolution
- Check if all the requirements above are met.
- Check if all imports (especially FileScan and FileMetering) have gone through without errors
