Symptoms
While exporting asset data from Columbus to Spider Asset+ you will get the following error:
Server was unable to process request. --> Error while inserting or updating asset inventory: Configuration error: Culture code is not valid
Cause
This is due to a changed setting within Spider Asset+ versions and only happens if you have been updating from an older version.
Resolution
- Locate the file culture.config in the _WebSettings folder
- Open the file and check for the following entries:
<add cultureCode="de-CH"/>
<add cultureCode="de-ch"/>
- If an entry exists twice, remove the line with the lower case values
