SVM On-Premise Database port

Is the the IP port no 3306 between the Flexera SVM On-Premise implementation application server and database server bi or uni directional?

Hi,

The communication is uni-directional and the port should be open on the database server for MySQL to listen for incoming application server requests. The database may communicate back and forth with the application server while the connection has been established, but it should and would never initiate a new connection on its own.
