Project upgrade from IS2010 to 2012 issue
Hi,
I was using installshield 2010 and trying to convert my project file in installshiled 2012 premier.
My project is having lot of custom dialogs and a few standard dialogs. After upgrading the project file to installshield 2012, I am seeing all Japanese/Chinese text (I am not able to understand which one) on the standard dialogs.
I have already checked the system settings and the installshield project settings. All these show English (US) as the language. But the text comes in Japanese (in fact, we do not have any japanese version).
Any help is much appreciated.

I haven't heard of this happening before. As a workaround you might try exporting your strings in IS2010 and then reimporting them in IS2012.

It did not help me! There is some issue in that part. I even tried reinstalling the InstallShield.

Is your project an InstallScript project? If so, have you verified you're using ANSI/Unicode correctly with STRING/WSTRING prototypes per the InstallShield 2011 release notes?
