InstallShield will not install dll files to desired path.
We are using installShield 2010 and part of our install process is to install dll files in the root of our directory and also a folder within that root directory.
This works fine for one of our projects, however we created a copy of that project and renamed all of the path variables, Directories and the Dynamic linking to correspond to where all the new files are and need to go. Everything installs with exception of the copy of the dlls to the folder within the root location.
Perhaps check the destination of the component containing the DLLs installed to the root directory, and compare to the destination of the component going to the subdirectory? (Probably should be something like [INSTALLDIR] and [INSTALLDIR]subdir, respectively.)
