InstallShield 2023 with Visual Studio 2022

I'm using the latest versions of InstallShield 2023 and Visual Studio 2022 Community edition, but I cannot open my InstallShield project in VS. I have attempted repairing my InstallShield installation as well.

Does the InstallShield 2023 integration not work with VS 2022 Community edition?

We are also not able to migrate our Basic MSI Projects from Visual Studio 2019/Installshield 2018 to Visual Studio 2022/Installshield 2023.   

The VSSolutionFolder is **UNDEFINED**, Project Assistant is not working, and we cannot update the Product Code.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling VS and Installshield, did not help.

Thank you for contacting Revenera Support.

Either unregister Visual Studio integration and re-register, or integrate InstallShield manually after unregistering Visual Studio.

You can unregister and register again with following command:
Unregister Visual Studio integration with InstallShield: tsconfig /unregisterVSIP
Register Visual Studio integration with InstallShield: tsconfig /registerVSIP
