Hello,
Please see the Knowledge Base article Q107699 (http://support.installshield.com/kb/view.asp?articleid=Q107699), which describes this build error and offers some possible resolutions.
Thanks ~ Swetha

I tried this URL and it just displayed a blank page. Do you have another URL?
Thanks

Thanks for your reply.
I looked at this article. I have nothing checked in 'Redistributables'. I searched for the DLL referenced and it was not on my PC.
I have fixed this by uninstall/install of InstallShield, but now get the -6002 error on every build.
Any other ideas?
Thank you
Tom

Here is another thing that I noticed.
I have the Release set for a Single Image (exe) file. When I get an error -6002, if I open the Release Folder, there are 3 files:
Myprogram.exe
Myprogram.msi
setup.ini
Rather than the single exe file I would expect.
I tried installing from the msi file, and it seems to install normally. I will use this as a work-around for now.
Thanks
Tom

Hello,
Could you please try below steps:
>Open ISLE project in visual studio
>Double click on Releases view under Prepare for release view
>Set compression to "Compressed" under build tab
>Set Setup launcher to "yes" under setup.exe tab
>build the project to build single msi setup.
Thanks
Chiranjeevi

Hello Chiranjeevi,
Thank you for your reply.
All those settings are already set as you mentioned.
Any other ideas to try?
Thanks
