User Defined Magic Folder for User_install_dir

Hi

Has anybody have used user defined magic folder for USER_INSTALL_DIR.Basiclaly my application demands to be installed at instance home but needs to be installed from root.So i have made a magic folder for USER_INSTALL_DIR but it's not working .Can someone help!

Are you setting the value for your User defined magic folder?

Yes I am setting the value in USER_MAGIC_FOLDER1

How are you setting the value? And are you setting $USER_MAGIC_FOLDER_1$ (with an underscore before the numeral 1)?
