Problem with checking installed software
I can use "Query InstallShield Universal Software Information" action to find out the installed software builded by ISMP.
The question is:
Can I use this action to find installed software builded by IA?
If I can, what should I put in the "UUID" field?
Thanks!

In ISMP, we set one UID for each product. And we can use this UID in
"Query InstallShield Universal Software Information" action to find out whether the product is installed.
In IA2008, we also set a productID for each product. But after installed the product, I tried to use "Query InstallShield Universal Software Information" action and "find component in registry" action with this productID, but neither action found the product.
So I want to know that in what case can we use the productID?
When we want to find out whether a product ,which is built by IA, is installed, is using "find component in registry" the only way to do so?
Thanks!
