Install Anywhere doesn't retain soft links while creating archive binary
While trying to create a Install Anywhere Archive binary, we see that the soft links which are part of the package are not retained and they are being copied as regular files.
Where as while creating a normal Install Anywhere binary using a RPM, the soft links are retained.
I am using Install Anywhere 2018 SP1 version for creating the package.

This is a known issue, you can raise a ticket with Flexera to attach with this case.
As a Workaround: Use a tar archive or create the symlink at runtime.

Also, can we create a ACTION during the post-install phase, for creating the soft links?
Infact I did try that and see that the links are not being created in the "Create Soft Link" Action that i added during the post-install phase.
