Mapping of SQL Services to the appropriate editions

We recently created a new license for SQL Server 2022 Standard and Enterprise Edition. Now, we want to map the applications to obtain the consumption count.

To do this, though we need a clear understanding of which editions cover which series overall.

Please advise me on the necessary procedures to follow in order to properly map the services under the relevant edition.

How did you create the licenses?

I'm asking as if you created them based on purchased SKUs the product use rights would have automatically linked them to the relevant applications, including edition/version downgrade rights.
