Error-The maximum number of returns is reached, contact your product vendor if you need help.

Symptoms: When an end-user tries to activate the product, an error message is shown as " The maximum number of returns is reached, contact your product vendor if you need help." with “Denied” result on the Flexera server. End-user will not be allowed to activate the producer's product and gets error when tried to activate the license.

Diagnosis: This might happen if Producer would have set the limit in license definitions.

Solution: To allow end-user additional activations apart from the activations set in license definitions, producer should confirm in the portal, if UDF is enabled.

If UDF is not set, pls add as below.
1.Go to Administer
2.List Active UDF's
3. See if User Defined Field-【LIC_RET_OVERWR_ADDTL】 is enabled and increase the number of additional returns given.

If UDF is not created, Pls enable as below
1. Go to administer
2. Add UDF【LIC_RET_OVERWR_ADDTL】
3.As shown in below screenshot

 4. Producer can see newly added User defined field and a text box to specify the number of returns allowed, which allows the end-user to return and activate the product.
