Modifying the SCCM user import for Flexera On Premises

I need to customize the import from SCCM to exclude some users and other fields to the import.  I ran the SQL select statement from SCCM to see what would be imported. I need to add email, street address, city, zip code, title. Has anyone already done this and if so can you share your reader modifications. Once I make the changes is there a way to test it without having it import?

(1) Solution

To populate User-related data, I prefer creating a new Business Adapter on the Beacon, which is way simpler. And you can simulate import (Tools - Simulate).

The best practice is to keep the original SCCM inventory reader intact.

You may find the following threads helpful (even though they use AD, it does not matter):

I agree, a dedicated business import is best practice. I usually deactivate the user import part of the SCCM inventory adapter completely.
