Content Change Notification - Office 365 Product Name, Version, and Edition changes

Change Title	Office 365 Product name, Version, and Edition changes.	Class 1	Customers should be prepared and take action
Change Summary	Based on changes made by Microsoft on office 365, Application Recognition Library (ARL) needs to change the Product Name, Version, and edition for existing Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Impact	Product Change: Microsoft Office 365 has been renamed as '365'.  All the versions of the product name 'Office 365' will be renamed as '365'  in ARL. [1] Version Change: Often, Microsoft releases versions based on the build numbers, and the 16.0 version is no more connected to 2016, and versions format looks like 2104, 2105 for 16.xx build numbers. We will maintain an internal version for 2016 as 16.0 and 2019 as 17.0 in the ARL. Edition change:  New Edition names have been introduced in ARL for the latest versions as per Microsoft website. Commenting the details of other Content libraries - 

All Microsoft Office 365 SKUs, PURL templates and Bundles relevant for the above change has been checked.

SKUs -

1. These SKUs will be linked to the newly renamed application.

2. Any new SKUs which will be added from now on will be linked to the renamed application (current name according to Microsoft) even if the SKUs are legacy and contains older details like 2016, Pro plus.

PURL -

1. PURL templates have been refined to reflect the current name as per latest Microsoft vendor literature.

Bundles -

1. Microsoft Office365 bundles with older termed applications added as either primary or supplementary applications will be updated to reflect the new termed applications.

The release will be synced internally and all content libraries (ARL, SKU, PURL, Bundles) will reflect the collective changes on 26th November's respective builds.

Correction - The SKU, PURL, Bundle updates for Office365 products will be available on 3rd December 2021, instead of 11/26.
