Summary

We have identified an issue with patching to version 5.5.75 due to an issue not fully resolved in 5.5.74

Symptoms

There will be issues when applying the patch, meaning that it will not successfully apply, you will see an error message in the BDNA log during the patch upgrade that will say

ERROR Connect to User Console failed

However when checking the Admin Console > Preferences > Flexera User Console page this will show as connected

Workaround

In the Data Platform server please do the following:

Run the following in an administrator command prompt:

"%BMS_HOME%\bin\updater.exe" /FILE="%BMS_HOME%\Update\5.5.65_DLLS.zip"

Then retry the update

Fix Version and Resolution

Once on 5.5.75 you will no longer see this issue when upgrading
