Need help with security/permissions

Hi...I've created a package that installs and runs fine as administrator but not as a regular user...In the build doc it specified directories and files that needed certain rights and I've done those and made sure that they get applied via a custom action.

Problem is there has got to be something that the build doc is missing....Can you recommend any utilities, methods or procedures that i can use to track down what security etc that the app needs, so I can build that into the package?

OS is XP btw...

Not as uncommon as you might think. The QualityMonitor should be able to do this work for you. Use the 'Lockdown and Runtime Tests' option. From there you can launch the applications under a different user account. As the applications, QualityMonitor reports failed accesses to registry keys and file/folders. Along the same lines, RegMon and FileMon from sysinternals.com also works.
