Missing tables in MSI

By
Not applicable
We've only been using Admin Studio 8.5 for a few weeks (previously we were on 7.5) and we've just done our first snapshot. It's a basic application with just files and shortcuts. The MSI produced by the Editor only has 37 tables in it!? Previously we'd see something like 85 tables, of which quite a few were empty.

The problem is that our custom validation routines now fail, as do our ICE33 fixing routines, becuase of the missing tables!

How can I get the Editor to add the empty tables when I build the MSI?

If you really need all the tables, or just specific tables, you can configure some exclusions in the following XML file:

[ProgramFilesFolder]Macrovision\AdminStudio\8.5\Editor\Support\0409\settings.xml

Specifically, the setting is in the EmptyTableDisposition key of the file.

Hope this helps.
