MSI Keeps Reinstalling/Reconfiguring on Login

Hi,

Using AdminStudio 9.0, I repackaged SnagIT 7. Everything works fine, but upon login, the Windows Installer keeps re-running and says "...Please wait while Windows Configures SnagIT..."

So my guess is that Windows Installer is detecting a registry entry that has changed and keeps wanting to fix the installation upon login.

How do I stop this behaviour?!?!

You can use the Event Viewer to view the Application Log. There you can see what is causing the reinstallation to take place. Understanding that is the first step to fixing it.
