I noticed this question, and can't really come to any conclusions. I was hoping that you could give me some details about the problems you have seen.
Also, I'd ask a couple of extra questions:
- Does the MSI run "normally" if you execute it manually?
- Does the MSI look OK when you look at it in Direct Editor of DevStudio/Developer? (depending on the version you're using)
- Does the MSI pass a validation test?
- Could it be something with the particular MSI you're attempting to deploy? Try a real simple MSI and see if that works.
Anyway, if you could provide us with some additional information, I can see if we have any possible solutions to this problem. In any case, my apologies for the inconvenience.
