Have tried this. If a Display is done with echo $lax.nl.env.SESSION$ after running the bat file it is empty. Does this have to be declared first? If so how does this need to be declared. :confused:

Hi After running a target bat file a dos variable has a string value from a text file as below. This can be echoed and the value returned. How can IA see the variable to be entered into a file. Using the Modify single test file no problem to do this. Set /p SESSION= echo %SESSION% Thanks newiauser:confused:
