Can some one give some pointer about how to do silent uninstall of a package/software through command line? Thanks a lot for your help in advance..

Currently we are using installshield 2012, whenever we upgrade the product, the product get uninstalled and again installed. By doing this, we can't maintain customer logged in state. Can we prevent this by just replacing the file when we do upgrade...
