My mistake. The XP exe compatibility bit was on. Once I removed it, Vista was identified correctly.

Actually it does not work. It seems that Check Platform does not really work for VistaTo debug, I pressed ctrl while the installer started and the console had this lineos.name == Windows XPwhich suggests that Vista is not being ...
