Using IA's Get Windows Registry Entry action is it possible to retrieve the (default) labeled registry values? All attempts i've tryed so far have failed!

i personally overcome the shortcomings of IA when updating by having a simple detection of a previous installation (eg check registry key) If a previous installation detected it then retrieves installation directory in my case from the registry again and locates the installvariables.properties to get what is needed and then displays a difference set of components at install sets than what a new installation displays(eg update installation instead of new installation) and then in the install it will just update the needed files included under the update component

After consulting the IA 2008 Enterprise API documentation I found the following class/method but it does not exist in IAClasses.zip: com.installshield.wizard.platform.win32.Win32RegistryService.getSubkeyNames Am I being stupid or it is no longer available and are there any alternative ways to get a list of sub keys from a key in the registry? thanks greg
