Hi , I have created an Installscript MSI project , in that we have two features , so we are using FeatureDialog dialog to allow the user to select the features he wish to select and install. But this dialog is not showing the check boxes of the features in FeatureDialog dialog, we need to double click on the name of the feature to select the feature. In different OS machines it is behaving differently In Win-2008 R2 machine: In Win7 machine: We want the check-boxes in 2008r2 machine also, thanks in advance

Hi , Our issue is different from Niks issue, I am suppose to stop the execution of the remaining installers if we stop the execution of the first installer in Suite project

Hi , I added a "MSI Package" condition in detection condition for Setup2,setup3,etc and filled the product code, package code, product version, comparison value of Setup1.exe in Setup2,setup3,etc MSI Package condition. But still it is not stopping the execution

Hi MichaelU, We are supposed to use only exe files but not msi files. Secondly which Detection condition do we need to add , already we are using Installscript package in Detection condition for our purpose.

Hi, I created a Suite installer with 10 exe packages in it, all these exe packages are created using Installscript MSI project. Let the exe packages names like setup1.exe, setup2.exe, ... setup5.exe, setup6.exe, .... setup10.exe. Now while installing the Suite installer, if I cancel the setup1.exe, the execution of the remaining setups should not continue. Could you please help me in this issue.Thanks in advance

Hi , I have created Installscript msi project, I am able to install and uninstall the setup successfully, but after successful uninstallation also, few folder or files are not getting deleted .Please help me out in this issue. Thank in advanve

Hi rrinblue22/Hysteresis, I tried out to call the dll function which will stop the service in ONBEGIN function, now it is working fine , the Reboot dialog is not coming , Thanks for your help and your valuable time.

Hi rrinblue22, I tried with all the three values of REBOOT property, but still getting that dialog. Later I checked in registry HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager , in this inside the PendingFileRenameOperations, the value is \??\C:\Users\ADMINI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\{CB1A9911-8637-4DF5-B4C0-66E4321FC6AC}\setup.exe. The screen shot is So what shall I do to overcome this . Thanks in Advance

Hi DLee65, I tried to make it public and its working fine, but is there any way that Suite installer can start/stop the services , and remove the start/stopping of services of its exe packages

Hi Hysteresis, While upgrade , I am calling a dll function which will stop the service, just before the Welcome dialog while upgradation, still it is showing the Reboot dialog
