Where is this service pack? (It says it adds Windows 8/2012 support) I contacted the customer support for SP4 links and I was told I need to have a valid maintenance plan. Is this correct? Unfortunately, Check for Update menu no longer works.

Issue resolved. Installed fine after I downloaded the IA 2011 SP2 installer file directly into the Ubuntu server. Not sure if it has anything to do with file transfer or the installer package name change bug that was reported in this forum. Thanks, Senthil Muniswamy

Thanks for immediate response. I am getting this error when I am installing IA 2011 SP2 for Linux 64-bit that I got from installshield support on Ubuntu (headless server). As I mentioned earlier, IA 2011 installs fine. If you work for Flexera, I will send you the download link (through PM if possible). Debug output: Preparing to install... Checking for POSIX df. Found POSIX df. Checking tail options... Using tail -n 1. shift: 173: can't shift that many

I am getting the error below on Linux OS (Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS) when I try to install the IA 2011 SP2 package. shift: 173: can't shift that many At line 173 of install.bin there is a command “shift 9” which causes the problem. However, the initial version of IA 2011 installs fine which has the shift command. Anyone know or resolved this issue?

I am also getting the same message on Solaris. Any idea? Could it be an issue with creating the package using JDK 1.6? Our previous release with JDK 1.5 do not have this issue. During upgrade I set "Default Values" for selection based on the previous installation. If the user want to unselect all of the choices, how to set it? -> 1. Multiple Choice 1 2. Multiple Choice 2 -> 3. Multiple Choice 3 ENTER A COMMA-SEPARATED LIST OF NUMBERS REPRESENTING THE DESIRED CHOICES, OR PRESS TO ACCEPT THE DEFAULT: In this case, the DEFAULT is "1,3". Entering other number such as 0 is not allowed. I think the "," works but I would like to know the right/better way.
