Issue was due to wrong JVM. exporting DISPLAY variable is just work around. Fix for my issue is, I have bundled 32 bit version of JRE and running on 64 bit machine. After changing jre to 64bit version, created new media and installation is going through without changing any variables. Thanks, Rakesh.

When I try to sane InstallAnywhere project I see character encoding error. What characters causes this kind of error. Some characters cannot be mapped using "Cp1252" character encoding. Either change the encoding or remove the characters which are not supported by the "Cp1252" character encoding. Input length = 1 Thanks, Rakesh.

Not sure what's changes in OS, but Installanywhere should not depend on this variable anymore. If I do export display="" Installer is going through.

Hi, I have a .bin created with installanywhere to install it on linux. When i run setup.bin file from DVD or MobaXTerm, I see below error "User Interface Mode Not Supported ". If I run the same setup.bin file through putty, it is working fine. Can you suggest how to rectify this. Thanks, Rakesh

Infront of the variabe name, you will see the option "Encrypt Variable value" After setting that, you see the encrypted value in log. Thanks, Rakesh.
