From what I have found as long as you can get a jvm bundle or create your own bundle the installer will run and works. I am currently working on building 32 bit and 64 bit jvm bundles for FreeBSD.

I used the instructions to create a JVM for 64 bit Windows on AMD64, they worked but I had to make a couple of changes. I will look up what I did and let you know.
