Hi ,I have created a installer for Linux using ISMP 5.x, it will work if i have lesser version of jre/jdk 1.5, means installer works fine with 1.4.x, 1.3.x but same installer will not work if i install jdk 1.5 version on linux.Could you please help m...

You can run the installer using jar file also.try the follwing commnadjava -cp jar_file run

You can set the customized Icon for your product in ADD/Remove Programs by setting DisplayIcon key in registry for your product,I think your are already aware of that, by set the customized display icon we need to create one .reg file with following ...

You can update the registry entry for your productBy setting the display name for your product [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\your_productname]"DisplayName"="Customized Display Name"Hope this will help you
