Hello @is_ppllc, what I know currently: FNP still requires LSB, but RedHat dropped LSB. There's the "--nolsb" option to install_fnp.sh. This will "fake" the existence of the missing LSB interpreter. I've also successfully tried to directly use another interpreter via "patchelf --set-interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 lmutil". Should have the same effect. As said, but both approaches somehow fake LSB, it's still not there. I don't have any information yet, whether there are further LSB requirements of FNP and we've not yet done a full test. Greetings

Thanks @mrathinam for the quick response. Do you know whether the upcoming release will remove the mentioned LSB requirement? If not we'd start to investigate on how to enable the support for LSB on RHEL 9 (if possible at all). Greetings, Ingo

What about the support for FNP on RHEL 9? According to the release notes, 11.19.1.0 is supported on RHEL 7 and 8 only. We're just switching to RHEL 9. In my understanding, the Linux Standard Base (redhat-lsb-core) is no longer supported with RHEL 9, but this is essential for FNP? Greetings, Ingo

Hi @mrathinam , Thanks, I know you were answering @jacques_latta question. But my question in the post is about load balancing instead of failover. Failover setup we are already using but in our usecase. But no. of requests to server is goes significantly high over the time so I am really interested in some in the box load balancing capability in FNE server, Is there any such thing exists. Hello, I am looking for some suggestions on how I can run a cluster of FNE servers in order to balance the request load among them, If this is possible an additional requirement in this regard will be how such cluster can be configured to use same H2 database. In our use-case FNE server stops responding after accessive license checkout requests from a client (hundres/sec), I know there is rate-limit param which can keep fne-server responding in such situation but this will delay the responses, thats why looking for load-balancing solutions using single instance of DB. Please let me know if possible in FNE natively, some out of the box suggestions are also welcome. Thanks, Kamal Krishna Bhatt

@maxhenselnonse: To me this looks like version 1.2.17 is used for the FNE LLS. But according to the CVE only versions from 2.0 to 2.14.1 are affected? Can someone confirm this?

From FlexNet Embedded 2020 R3 License Server Release Notes: Using feature selectors in combination with partitions may produce unexpected results. Has anyone more details about this topic? Of course, feature selectors and partitioning rules may result in a filter chain with somehow contradicting checks. Is that all?
