Removing lineage and deleting all products/Releases from Finning.
Flexera will remove lineage and delete all products/releases/mappings from the Manufacturer name “Finning” to “Caterpillar”.
Finning International Inc. has not completely acquired Caterpillar instead it is a significant dealer of Caterpillar products. https://www.caterpillar.com/
Impact
This change will impact customers who rely on Technopedia Manufacturer ID/Product ID/Release ID & Names or previously discovered data mapped to the old manufacturer will be mapped to the new manufacturer. The change needs the customer to manage downstream processes and reporting in their organization.
The spreadsheet Finning Products and releases to be deleted provides the complete list of all the software products and releases under Finning Manufacturer for which the mapping will be changed from “Finning” to “Caterpillar”.
