Flexera will migrate all products/releases/mappings from the old manufacturer name ‘Compuware’ to ‘BMC Software.
As BMC Software has completed the acquisition of Compuware, we will migrate Compuware’s products to BMC Software.
Note that other companies have acquired some products of Compuware instead of BMC. For example:
Micro Focus has acquired the brand ‘NuMega’ and ‘DevPartner’.
The brand ‘Gomez’ and ‘Vantage’ will migrate under the manufacturer Dynatrace because of Compuware APM has been renamed to Dynatrace.
Impact
This change will impact the customers who rely on Technopedia Manufacturer ID/Product ID/Release ID & Names. The discovered data that was previously mapped to the old manufacturer will be mapped to the new manufacturer. The change needs the customer to manage downstream processes and reporting in their organization.
The spreadsheet Migration from Compuware to BMC Software.xlsx provides the complete list of all the Technopedia products for which the manufacturer name will be renamed from Compuware to BMC Software.
