Due to some circumstances the license has to be reset. This article explains how to do this.


  1. Send your most recent license file to technical support with an explanation why you want to reset your license.
  2. brainwaregroup support then will evaluate the reason and send you a reset file
  3. open the License Console on your  Spider or Columbus server
  4. select one of the valid license entries
  5. open the context menu and select Reset Usage with a File
  6. select the reset file you have been receiving
  7. confirm it with open
  8. your license counts are reset now
