where do iss response files get saved
Installshield express 2008
winXP
tryiing to make a response file used the following string in the Start|Run dialog box - quotes included in the string i put into the box
"C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My InstallShield\MySetup\Express\SingleImage\DiskImages\DISK1\MySetup.exe" /r
Where "MySetup.exe" was made using the installshieldExpress2008. (I chaged the name from the Installshield default name of "setup.exe" to "MySetup.exe"
My understanding is that this will run the setup and make a file that I can then use in conjunction with other switches to silently install (an uninstall)
My install went fine but darned if I can find the iss file. Where is that file made. Or maybe my string was wrong?
Thanks

Silent Express installations do not use a response file (.iss).
(The /r parameter is for creating response files for InstallScript or InstallScript MSI installations, which you can create with the Premier and Professional editions of InstallShield, but not the Express edition.)
